The ACU is an international organisation dedicated to building a better world through higher education. They bring universities together from around the world – helping to advance knowledge, promote understanding, broaden minds, and improve lives.
Brief
I was approached by the in-house Communications team to work on multiple projects for the not-for-profit organisation, The Association of Commonwealth Universities.
A new initiative needed a visual identity including a logo. The project aimed to bring the experience of leading universities to blend and enhance learning experiences in Africa. Entitled PEBL, the project was the Partnership for Enhanced and Blended Learning.
Subsequently, I was commissioned to produce new design concepts for the member magazine to update and refresh its look and increase appeal.
Solution
I created a series of logo options to reflect the PEBL initiative, reflecting its global links and basis in education. The ACU team selected their preferred option which I produced in a variety of formats for use.
Alongside the PEBL logo, I produced a glossy folder to promote the work of the ACU universities involved in this education project.
The magazine was in need of a refresh and I produced visual concepts to showcase different approaches and looks for the publication.
