nat&co. is a local Leigh-on-Sea start-up business. Natalie (Nat) King is a self-confessed gym junkie and a motivated business woman who wanted to create healthy snacks. She had created a product that could tap into the health and nutrition market.
Nat’s initial concept was to package the healthy, long thin snacks (Natchsticks) in a matchbox style box. However, I worked with her on this idea and it evolved into producing stickers on pack as a more cost effective solution.
I worked with Natalie on her branding. I designed a logo for Natchsticks, packaging, a pull-up banner for events, ingredient illustrations, stickers and pack visuals for her nat&co.website.
The branding was to reflect the business’s seaside location. The key themes of health, nutrition, handmade products and convenience also informed the design style.
Blue and white was the preferred colour scheme to convey the coastal theme. I used fonts that were clear yet informal. The target audience and core values of the business were very specific and played a big part in informing the design style.
