Poster Illustrations
I produced this collection of illustrated animals to appeal to families in particular and to extend my product range.
It was the first range that was not location-based. I chose a colour palette that would appeal to all, rather than using traditional gender-specific shades. It is more modern in style with a simple, clear design of each animal.
I am delighted that a selection of endangered animal designs are sold at the PTES (People’s Trust for Endangered Species) which helps to raise money and awareness for endangered animals around the world. These prints have also featured in BBC Wildlife magazine.
Brief
Create a series of animal posters to sell in retail outlets and Art of Adventure website.
Solution
Using photographs as reference I drew graphics in Adobe Illustrator, adding texture to solid areas mimicking screen printing.
