Forrester–Hyde
Financial Advisers
Local, independent finance company, Forrester-Hyde, approached me to design a bespoke cover illustration and brochure to promote their 10 years of portfolio management. The aim was to boost their relationships with professional clients and to attract new business.
I drew a stylised cover image of Southend seafront based on 1930s railway posters which gave it a nostalgic feel. The cover stood out, as a unique way of presenting the financial information and reinforcing their links with the local area.
I designed and printed a 12-page document to present their financial information in a clear, aesthetically-pleasing format. This was sent to existing clients and used to gain new business. The finished design was well received by all.
Based on the success of the brochure, I was asked to design and print a presentation folder used to display brochures and flyers and subsequent commissions too.
Brief
To create a promotional brochure, folder, signage and e-flyers. The aim was to move away from their usual cover style which used photos and to design something unique and different.
Solution
Instead of basing the design on local photos, I created a unique illustration using the particular style I employ for my Art of Adventure posters.
